Great Movie To Watch On Holidays

I recommended this movie because… it is worth to recommended (I mean, it is a great movie to watch. Really). The story is based on a true story. It tells about the living on Kilpatrick Camp, a detention camp—or in another word we can said that as a ‘pre-jail’ for the dangerous teenage who interacted with gang violence and criminals.

A probation officer, Sean Porter, tried to make a difference and filled the emptiness of their lives. With those kids, he crated a high-school-level football team as a means to teach them self-respected and social responsibility. He is joined in this experiment by co-worker, Malcolm Moore. But Porter must first overcome almost universal resistance from the power that be—his skeptical bosses and coaches who don’t want their players mixing it up with convicted criminals on the football field... So, it’s correct if there was an old-saying told that a kid is most like a white paper sheet, the parents job is to filled it—or the neighbourhood will take over the duty if they don’t.

There were some lessons that we can get from the movie; First of all, we must believe in faith. “We’re gonna make it—and be the winner!” said Sean Porter in front of his team, always, and in a positive way. The second is self-respected. Then the last, but the most important is… kids need a concern and attention from their family. They someone who could direct them and guide them to the right way….

Hey, I’d like to quote few words from Sean Porter on the movie that I loved the most. I believe, and I hope, the words can inspiring us (amin) :

“What are you lookin’ at? Don’t look at them! They ain’t gonna help ya out here…

And you can’t runaway! You got nobody but yourself, but goddamn it, that’s all you need! Believe in yourself…”
